Very original concept with tons of great stories and information. Terrific job by the author of integrating relevant sidebars on the history of the teams and stadiums as well as the political and economic environment surrounding NY in 75. That said, the organization of the chapters may give you a bit of whiplash. The book goes back and forth several times and covers the same info more than once. Still highly recommended and enjoyable

So much material here that could have been great. I was looking forward to hearing about just how the stadium was set up, the mechanics of it, changing from football to baseball and back again.The intro sure hinted at that, getting interviews with the head groundskeeper and all.The groundskeeper was repeatedly quoted as saying: "Well, after the baseball season started, it was hard to keep the field up for football, it was so torn up".I imagine so, but HOW did you try to fix that?Give me some details.Show me some diagrams of the field.Show me how the stands moved.Show me how the locker rooms were arranged. Pictures, please.I thought the book would be more about the stadium itself.Not just box scores, and how awful the players were.I can get that info online.The nitty-gritty of the behind the scenes info was what I craved.Maybe my fault in expecting that, so two stars for a waste of time and money.

Book brought back a lot of memories, as I was a Yankee fan in the midst of my formative years in 1975. I miss those days terribly.
