WOW!!! Reading this book is like re-taking my Mathematical Statistics course, except without using a dedicated statistics program supplied the university. It is an excellent refresher course that is superbly structured in which the reader builds his/her knowledge of both statistics and MS Excel's Data Analydis Add-In. Until I read this book, I had never understand how to fully use the Data Analysis Add-in package (or its earlier versions) as MS Excel's explanation is deplorable. It's of little or no help whatsoever.I particularly like the manner in which the author doesn't require the reader to read each chapter sequentially. He allows a little wiggle room by referencing prior examples and inserting notes that specifically reference pertinent points discussed in prior chapters. Also, his step-by-step approach to charting is fantastic. As an example, I never would have envisioned using MS Excel Charts to illustrate an overlapping comparison of "areas under the curve", let alone figure out how to do it.This book is an excellent reference tool, which allows the reader to apply statistical analyses to everyday situations while utilizing a software program that in all likelihood the reader already owns.
A very practical approach to Excel statistical functions. I enjoy how he explains the graphs as well as how to create them. He also has some videos that are worth purchasing. One of the things I enjoy is he's not intimidated to in pointing out some of the problems MS introduces as well as supports the belief that these functions will provide you data good enough for any business decision you'll face. I consider him Commander Data when it comes to Excel Statistics!

I would recommend this book to any one who want to understand statistics and its application. It worths to be kept for life learning and reference at works.
